Winter/Spring Schedule

Recycle…Reuse…Reinvent…..On a budget

Susan Linsley, Head Creative Thinker of Endless Ideas, is now offering classes designed for the everyday person that wants to be creative on a budget.  These classes include, rewiring and designing lamps, making your own tabletop fountain, themed centerpieces, making and decorating picture frames, and planters. Classes include light refreshments, instruction and everything you need to “make and take”.  Approximately 2 hours to work and visit. The studio is located at 1212 Old Mill Road, Easley, SC 29642. Take exit 35 off I85, continue 4.8 miles, left on Old Mill Road, studio on left side.

Classes offered at 9:30am and 6:30pm on Tuesdays.

Class limited to 10 people.

Susan is a recycled mixed medium artist.  She will recycle, reuse or reinvent items that are found, inherited or “follow her home” to create her art. She sees the world just a little bit different than everyone else. “She is really just a leftover hippie and hates to waste anything.”

February 2011 Schedule

Tuesday 2/15  Tabletop water fountain.  Cost $20, materials fee $35, materials provided.  Love that relaxing, trickling water sound?  We will make a tabletop water fountain using rocks, shells, found items, candles.  Fountains enhance traditional, rustic or modern décor.  Perfect, for any spot in your home.

Tuesday 2/22 Rewire a lamp. Cost $20, materials fee $15, materials provided.  Learn how to rewire, reconstruct, and decorate an old lamp to become a stylish lamp for a fraction of the cost of a new lamp.  If you have a special lamp you would like to rewire, bring it as well.

March 2011 Schedule

Tuesday 3/8 Tabletop water fountain. Tuesday 3/22 Spring Décor.  Cost $20, materials fee $20, materials provided.  Bring the colors of spring into your home.  Springs baskets and unusual containers created with everlasting flowers.  In addition you can bring an old arrangement for a makeover.  Recycling at it’s best.

 April 2011 Schedule

Tuesday  4/5 Deck and Patio Accessories.  Cost $20, materials $15, materials provided.  You can never have too many planter stands.  In this class we will be making a planter stand using recycled shutters.  We will also be making hanging and standing candle holders using cans and recycled glassware.

Tuesday 4/17 Ceramic tiled Planter. Cost $20, materials fee $20, materials provided.  In this class we will be learning to assemble a basic planter with feet.  You will also learn the basics of tiling and grouting.  The completed project is not only practical but a fabulous addition to your home.

May 2011 Schedule

Tuesday 5/3 Giant Porch Planters.  Cost $20.  Love those giant planters at the mall and hotels?  We will be filling and decorating this planter during class.  Learn the recipe to a successful showpiece.  However, due to the weight and size of the completed planter, only empty planters are available to purchase and create yourself.  $30 each

Tuesday 5/17 Faux painting on Cement surfaces.  Cost $20.  Learn and practice making faux brick designs.  The look of bricks without the expense of real brick on porches, pool decks, sidewalks or driveways.  Paint a faux rug under your patio table.  Now you have the decorated look of an outside dining experience without the wet rug.  It looks like the real thing.
