Creative Diva
How I got here: Born in the great town of Yonkers, NY, I received my first big
box of 64 Crayola Crayons when I was three and started drawing. I haven't stopped
since. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Manhattanville College in Purchase,
NY and studied for a year on my Masters in Media from the New School of Social
Research in New York, NY. I trained classically as a painter, and with a solid
background in direct mail, public relations, and color theory, I join all the
elements of design together to create powerful promotional vehicles.
Why I love my job: With many years of working in Corporate America, I've come
full circle to do what I love. Hit me with your most outrageous creative ideas:
I can handle it. Dare me to create the promotional vehicle that gets you noticed
and gets your business.
Personal Quote: Be to all what all is to nothing. --Sharon Free, ca. 1976
Favorite Quote: I would die happy if I knew that on my tombstone could be written
these words, "This man was an absolute fool. None of the disastrous things that
he reluctantly predicted ever came to pass!" -- Lewis Mumford, sociologist
Personal Ethics: Totally accountability and honesty. The buck stops here. I endeavor
to find ways to make it right.
Philosophy: I treat people the way I myself would expect to be treated. We all
have to live on this planet together so we might as well find ways to get along.
What I Do When I Am Not Designing: Painting bottles. Driving back and forth
with my pre-teen. I am a pop culture fanatic...I consider myself an expert
on pop music of the 1970s. I cook and bake and eat. I am addicted to shoes, which
is probably a big reason I am part of the EI team. :-) And now that I have a garage,
I am looking forward to creating metal sculptures again.
