  1. Smile like you mean it.  A real smile starts in the heart, shows on the lips and then spreads to the eyes.
  2. Shake hands with a full hand clasp, 2 or 3 shakes.  No bone crushers or limp wrists.  Women included.
  3. Use direct eye contact.
  4. Show sincere interest.
  5. Remember names.  The sound of a person’s name captures his attention immediately
  6. Want to be happy and successful? Think, act and look like it.
  7. Want to win your client over?  Think, act and look happy and successful.
  8. Dress appropriately for the occasion.
  9. If you look great on the outside you feel great on the inside.
  10. Darker colored clothing gives visual power, presence and credibility.
  11. To appear taller and thinner, dress in one color.
  12. Body language, create a powerful but pleasant presence.
  13. Be positive and enthusiastic.  Never complain, never explain.
  14. Be well-spoken and give sincere compliments.
  15. Don’t be guilty by association.  You are known by the company you keep and the places you frequent.
  16. Believe in what yourself as well as what you sell.
